solid rock dream team

Make a difference in the local church by serving on the Solid Rock Dream Team. On the Dream Team, you will connect with others, serve the church, and use your gifts to build the Kingdom of God through the church. Serving others is one of the best ways to find fulfillment and grow in your relationship with God. There are many places to serve. Choose one or multiple that interest you.

DREAM TEAM FORM

greeting team

Create a warm first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. Greeters offer a friendly smile, welcome guests, and help people feel at home from the moment they arrive.


worship team

Use your musical gifts to help lead our church into meaningful worship. Singers and band members serve together to create an atmosphere where people can experience God's presence.


breakfast club

Create a warm place for people to gather before and between services. This energetic team prepares and serves breakfast, coffee, and refreshments while making guests feel welcomed.


the rock shop

The Rock Shop team sells our inspirational Solid Rock Merch and other resources. The Rock Shop team offers assistance when choosing shirts, setting up displays, checking out, and interacting with people. 


information center

This friendly team connects people to the Church, providing resources and information on all of our current events, ministry opportunities and services at Solid Rock.


communion team

Serve behind the scenes by preparing the elements for Communion. This team helps our church family participate in this meaningful time of remembrance with care and excellence.


love your neighbor food pantry

Show the love of Jesus in a practical way by helping to provide food to people in our community. This team prepares for distributions, organize groceries, serve guests, and welcomes people with the love of Jesus.
Serves on the second Thursday of every month


media & production

Use your creativity and technical skills to help share the presence of Jesus in the room and online. Opportunities include cameras, lighting, audio, ProPresenter, livestreaming, and other elements of the worship experience.


kids check-in team

Kids Check-In Team members greet parents and children, assist with registration, answer questions, and help maintain a safe and organized check-in process.

solid rock kids

The Kids Team helps children to know Jesus and His great love for them. This team invests in the next generation through Bible lessons, worship, games, creative activities, and friendships.


solid rock nursery

The Nursery Caregivers provide a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for babies and toddlers. Nursery Caregivers show our littlest Solid Rockers the love of Jesus through activities and personal attention.


solid rock youth

This team is dedicated to building up the middle school and high school students through weekly devotionals, prayer, small groups, youth camp, and fun events throughout the year. Whether you want to lead a small group or join the snack team, this team makes a difference in our youth students. (Wednesday nights only)

solid rock young adults

Help young adults build meaningful friendships, strengthen their faith, and find community during an important season of life. This team creates welcoming gatherings, conversations, and experiences centered on Jesus.


prayer partners

Prayer Partners pray for the needs of the church that are written on the Connection Cards in service. They also pray for the pastors, each ministry, our events, church staff, and more. Prayer Partners pray on their own time and meet once a quarter with the Pastors.


ushers

Ushers create an organized, comfortable, and distraction-free worship experience. They welcome guests, assist with seating, and respond to practical needs throughout the service. (Men Only)


service attendants

Service Attendants help to maintain a welcoming, caring, and orderly environment throughout each service. They respond to practical needs, and help ensure everyone feels welcomed. (Women Only)


helping hands

Serve behind the scenes by preparing materials for Sunday and Wednesday services. This daytime team helps make sure Connection Cards, offering envelopes, and first-time gifts are joyfully prepared each week.
