prayer for revival and outpouring

Day 21 - January 25, 2025

O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years.
Habakkuk 3:2

Let us pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will revive us and bring about a revival of God working in our midst. Let’s pray to see a great move of God for the glory of God. Let us pray for a revival to bring many new souls into the kingdom of God at Solid Rock.

Prayer for Today:
Father, we pray You send down the fire of revival in Your church. Awaken Your church from slumber to arise and shine for the light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon us (Isaiah 60:1). Let there be fresh fire and anointing upon the ministers and upon Your church. Give new life, new strength, new energy, and new power to Your church. Holy Spirit, release Your anointing of healing in Your church. Let the sick be healed and we pray many people receive You, Jesus, as their Lord and Savior. We pray for a great harvest as we pray for laborers to bring in the harvest of many souls. Let every power of darkness working against a revival be destroyed in Jesus name. Holy Spirit, release your power upon the church as you baptize them in the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4). We wait for Your Spirit to be poured out upon us that we might be witnesses to those around us and to those we are reaching around the world (Acts 1:8). Revive us, O Lord, as You pour out Your spirit upon all flesh and old men see dreams and young people see visions (Acts 2:17). Pour out revival fire that there may be a turnaround so that many, many people would seek You and find Your prophetic voice to speak life and blessing to many! May You move powerfully in our midst this year. We believe and pray for a mighty revival of Your Holy Spirit changing us and empowering us to reach people who are in need of You. Revive your best work for the kingdom as You pour out Your Spirit! We pray and receive an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that many may come to know You and that Your church shine for the glory of Your name. Pour out Your Spirit, mighty God! We pray all this in the mighty, marvelous, majestic, magnificent, matchless name of Jesus, Amen!!!

prayer to our father

Day 19 - January 23, 2025

Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Matthew 6:9

The Lord’s prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13 is a prayer that can change your world in 20 seconds. When we pray the Lord’s prayer we are praying with Jesus. We will use the Lord’s prayer as a pattern or outline for prayer.

Prayer for Today:
Our Father in heaven… We praise and thank you that we are Your children because of Your Son Jesus who went to the cross and now we are adopted into Your family (Romans 8:15). Hallowed be Your name… we worship and exalt Your name. Your name is Victory, Healer, Provider, Righteousness, and so much more. Your name has given us authority and power over the enemy (Luke 10:19). In your name, the sick are healed (Mark 16:18). Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Kingdom of God come (righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit). Will of God be done in us, our families, our church and our community. Your will is salvation, spiritual formation, and becoming more like Christ (Romans 8:29). Your will is that we are healed, whole, and prospering in all areas that we might bless others. Give us today our daily bread… give us provision, sustenance, and abundance as we rely on You as our source. You are the Lord our shepherd and we lack nothing (Psalm 23:1). And forgive us our debts…forgive us of our sins, shortcomings, and faults. Thank You that if we confess our sins You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). As we also have forgiven our debtors…Lord we choose to forgive those who have offended us. Free us from the poison and bondage of bitterness (Hebrews 12:15) as we forgive others who have hurt us. As you have forgiven us, we forgive one another (Ephesians 4:32). And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. We command the devil to flee as we depend on the Holy Spirit, submit to You, and resist him with the weapons of our warfare (2 Corinthians 10:4). Thank You that we have the power of our spiritual weapons: the name of Jesus, the Word of God, and the blood of Jesus to rebuke and destroy the works of the devil. We declare that we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). And now we seal this prayer with praise and worship to You… For Your is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen

prayer to move mountains

Day 18 - January 22, 2025

“Have faith in God,”Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Mark 11:22-24 NIV

When you pray, mountains are moved. A mountain is any hindrance or obstacle that is stopping you from moving forward. However, that mountain can be your opportunity to pray, believe, and see it moved for the glory of God! That mountain can me turned into a testimony of God’s power. Jesus instructs us to speak to the mountain in faith and that you will receive whatever you say. Speak to your mountain today to be removed because on the other side of the mountain is your victory, blessing, and promise from God fulfilled!

Prayer for Today:
Lord, thank You that we have the faith to move mountains. Our faith is in you mighty, powerful God! We speak with our mouth knowing and believing that what we say will happen. Therefore, we speak to the mountains to be moved! Lord, we pray and speak to mountains of fear, anxiety, depression, sickness, lack, or whatever else is hindering our progress. We speak to the mountain in faith to be removed and gone as a testimony of Your great power! We ask, believe, and receive it! Praise to You for the victory and the blessing that comes through faith believing prayer. We believe that whatever we ask for in prayer right now we have received it and it is done in Jesus mighty name! Amen.

prayer for confidence in the lord

Day 17 - January 21, 2025

For the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.
Proverbs 3:26

God desires that you live with confidence that comes from Him. We all need confidence! In this time we need confidence and stability. The opposite of confidence is fear, timidity, and uncertainty. Thank God that we have Jesus as our solid rock to build our lives upon (Matthew 7:24).

Prayer for Today:
Lord, we thank you and bless your holy name because You are our confidence. Thank you for the confidence we have in You because you are for us, and not against us (Romans 8:31). Thank you that we have confidence because You are with us always (Psalm 23:4). We put our complete confidence in You because You love us and nothing can separate us from your powerful love (Romans 8:38-39). Thank You that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Thank you Lord that we do not operate in a spirit of fear or timidity but in power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). I am not unstable and tossed around by the wind and waves around me. I am not double-minded or filled with doubt. I declare that I am strong and stable and confident in you mighty God. Nothing will move me or shake me because I stand firm in You. (1 Corinthians 15:58). I confess and declare that the Lord is my confidence and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). I put my confidence and trust completely in you mighty God. I will not be afraid, shy, or timid but I will hold my head up high with confidence because of your favor on my life mighty God! I am the head and not the tail. I am above and not beneath. I am blessed in my coming in and blessed in my going out. Lord, thank You that I am stable, planted, firm, and confident because You are my solid rock in Jesus mighty name! Amen

prayer for our nation and its leaders that we may have peace

Day 16 - January 20, 2025

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior.
1 Timothy 2:1-3

God is pleased when we pray for those in authority who lead us so that we may live peacefully. There has been much anger and hurt in our nation and we are divided. Therefore, let us pray for healing, unity and peace.

Prayer for Today:
Lord, let your Word rise up in the hearts of our leaders so that it will bring about peace and unity in our land. We pray for national, state, and local leaders that you give them wisdom and grace to make wise decisions that will honor You. Bring down hate, strife, division, and violence. Raise up love, kindness, compassion, peace, and understanding. May we be slow to speak, slow to become angry, and quick to listen (James 1:19). May our leaders do everything in love (1 Corinthians 16:14). Help us to honor and respect those in authority. Lord, you are the Prince of Peace and the King of kings, come and reign over our land (Isaiah 9:6). It is in You that we put our trust. May the gospel be preached to all the nations (Matthew 24:14) so that a great harvest of people will enter your kingdom. We humble ourselves, seek your face, turn from our wicked ways, and ask you to forgive us and to heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). In Jesus might name we pray. Amen.

prayer for workers and the vision of solid rock

Let us pray for God to send and raise up more workers to advance the kingdom of God through the local church.

Prayer for Today:
Lord, we thank you for the opportunity to reap in the great harvest of people coming to salvation and into the kingdom of God. You are the Lord who is in charge of the harvest. So we do as You instructed in Your word - to pray and ask for more workers. We pray that workers be filled with compassion for the lost. We pray to be ready to serve the hurting and broken that they might be saved and found by You. Let us be soul winners and disciples who are ready to heed the call to serve and work for the kingdom of God. At Solid Rock, empower us to reach people with the love of God, restore people from brokenness to wholeness, raise people up to win, and release people in their God-given identity and purpose for the glory of God! prayer to carry the presence of god wherever you go

Day 14 - January 18, 2025

My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.
Exodus 33:14

Moses prayed to the Lord and said, “If your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.” Moses knew that this would be the distinguishing mark upon the people of God. They had the presence of God with them and upon them.

Prayer for Today:
Lord, we come into your presence, today, as we worship and bless your holy, mighty name. We enter your gates with thanksgiving and come into your courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). As we open our hearts and our mouths with worship, we come into your presence and find rest. In your presence, there is no tension, stress, conflict, or turmoil. In your presence, there is peace, strength, joy, rest, even in the midst of a storm. We enter your rest as we encounter your presence. In your presence, there is fullness of joy and eternal pleasures (Psalm 16:11). We acknowledge you, Holy Spirit, that you dwell in us. Therefore, we are continually in your presence. We pray for more of your manifest presence in us, in our families, and in our church. There is nothing we delight in more than being in your presence. Let us know and pursue more of your presence, mighty God. We adore you, love you, worship you, and thank you for your continual presence, in Jesus mighty name! Amen

prayer to put on the full armor of god

Day 12 - January 16, 2025

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I encourage you to read the entire passage found in Ephesians 6:10-18 that describes the armor of God. We need the armor so that we can stand firm, not against the power of the devil, but against the schemes of the devil. You have power and authority over the enemy! Don’t let him deceive you. Pray the supernatural armor of God on yourself.

Prayer for Today:
Lord, we put on the belt of truth (v.14), the Word of God. We hold on tightly to Your word and Your promises. You are the truth! (John 14:6) We cling tightly to You, Jesus. We put on the breastplate of righteousness (v.14) knowing that we are in right standing with You. We are loved, accepted, and secure in You. We cast down the accusations and condemnation of the enemy as we protect our heart with the breastplate of righteousness. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5:21) and walk in those rights and privileges. Our feet are fitted with the gospel of peace (v.15) that leads us to walk in peace and stay in peace. We hold up the shield of faith (v.16) as we declare that You are working on our behalf in every circumstance. Thank you that every flaming arrow of the enemy is extinguished. No weapon formed against us will prosper! We wear the helmet of salvation to protect our minds from negative thoughts and deception. We declare and remember that we are Your beloved children. You are good and have good plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11). We uphold the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, which grants us authority and dominion to live in victory and defeat the enemy! Thank You that we win and overcome with these weapons, Your Word, the name of Jesus, and the blood of Jesus! In Jesus mighty name, Amen!

prayer to let the river flow

Day 11 - January 15, 2025

“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit..
John 7:37-39

Today, we are praying for the Holy Spirit to flow in us and through us.

Jesus declared, from your inner most being will flow rivers of living water. It flows from within, your core being. Your core is where your strength resides. The Holy Spirit fills your core and life flows from there.

Prayer for Today:
Holy Spirit, we welcome you into our hearts and into our innermost being. We rely on You, Holy Spirit. Fill us to overflowing. Thank You for rivers of life, rivers of movement, rivers of growth, progress, prosperity, and rivers of transformation. By Your Spirit, we avoid stagnation and withering. Instead, we will flourish by Your Spirit. We declare that we will move forward as we follow the move of the Spirit. Thank you that, with the rivers of living water, we are fed and nourished so we will feed and nourish others as well. As Your Spirit flows in us, may it flow out to others that we may be blessed to be a blessing. We pray that the rivers of Your Spirit cleanse, nourish and produce life. We pray in the spirit and we pray with understanding (1 Cor. 14:15). Thank you that we are not drunk with wine, but instead filled with the Spirit, as we sing and make music to the Lord through worship (Ephesians 5:18-19). Holy Spirit, empower us to be witnesses to those around us and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Holy Spirit, give us visions and dreams (Acts 2:17) to advance the kingdom of God and glorify Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit that You are the Helper (John 14:26), the Counselor, who helps us in our weaknesses and shows us how to pray (Romans 8:26). Reveal by Your Spirit as we follow Your guidance and leadership. Enable us to continue to be a Spirit-led church and a Spirit-led people as the children of God (Romans 8:14). We pray for and receive the power of the Holy Spirit. May rivers of living water flow from within in Jesus mighty name! Amen.

Day 10 - January 14, 2025

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. We declare that we are flourishing and healthy, growing, and bearing good fruit. Lord, we declare that we are planted in Your house through the local church and therefore, we will flourish in Your courts. We are planted, connected, and grounded in the local church. We will flourish as we are planted in good soil, thriving in our gifts and talents as we serve You and one another. Lord, we declare that we are established and stable in You and in Your house. We give our time, money, energy, resources, and commitment to You and Your house. Thank You that through the local church we are nourished, watered, fed and flourishing in Your house. Our hearts are prepared. Our hearts are soft and tender, open to the Holy Spirit as we receive the good seed of the Word of God. As You remain in us, and Your words remain in us, we ask whatever we wish, and it will be done. This is for Your glory that we bear much fruit showing ourselves to be Your disciples (John 15:7-8). We will flourish like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever we do prospers (Psalm 1:3). Your Word declares that the righteous will flourish like the palm tree. Through the storms of life, we will bend and bend but we will not break just like the palm tree. We are planted in the house of the Lord, and we will flourish in the courts of our God. We will bear fruit even in old age, and we will stay fresh and green (Psalm 92:12-14). We are prosperous, fruitful, and thriving that we might be blessed to be a blessing to others. We pray this in Jesus might name! Amen.

prayer to overcome

Day 9 - January 13, 2025

Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand, that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever. But you, Lord, are forever exalted. For surely your enemies, Lord, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me. My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.

Thank You Lord that I am able to wrestle against principalities and powers of darkness and I am able to stand my ground! I am winning victories over demons, victories over circumstances that seem overwhelming. Thank You that I am equipped to win with Your armor. I declare that “If God be for me, who can be against me?” You have exalted my strength, my power, and my honor. I have been anointed by Your Spirit for empowerment and enablement. I am anointed and empowered to serve as a king, priest, or prophet. I have the anointing of the Holy Spirit to overcome. Because of the anointing, all fear is banished. The anointing equips me to overcome temptation. I am planted in You and I am victorious as an overcomer through the power of God. prayer for nearness to god

Day 7 - January 11, 2025

Come near to God and he will come near to you.
James 4:8 NIV

When you pray, God comes near. Even though God is always with us, when we pray, we sense the nearness of His presence even closer. Prayer is about having an intimate relationship with the Lord.

Prayer for Today:
Lord, we pray and come near to You knowing that you will come near to us. We desire intimacy because You love us and we love You. You desire love and friendship with us. We want to be closer, Lord, to you. Your love, Father, draws us nearer to Jesus (John 6:44). Because of the cross, there are no barriers between us and You. Draw me close to you. Knowing that You are close and near gives us joy, peace, and great satisfaction. May we be like David who was a man after God’s own heart (Acts 13:22). Reveal Your secrets with us as we draw closer to You. We love You and love to be in Your presence. We worship You, adore You, and love You with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Amen.

prayer for god to give restoration

Day 6 - January 10, 2025

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit.
Psalm 51:12 NIV

For those who feel tired, wounded, hurt, weary, or ashamed, let us pray for God to restore us by His love and grace. In the word, restoration — is the word rest. God desires to give you rest for your mind, soul, and body. The beauty of the message in all of Psalm 51 is rest and restoration.

Prayer for Today:
Lord, we thank you for your grace that is sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9). When we are weak, you make us strong. Allow us to enter into Your rest. We’ve had enough sad news. Make us to hear joy and gladness (Ps. 51:8). Create in me a clean heart (Ps. 51:10) which I receive through the precious blood of Jesus as I repent and receive your forgiveness and cleansing. Renew a steadfast spirit within me. May every broken area of our lives be healed and whole so that we live with nothing missing and nothing broken because You are the great healer and giver of life. prayer for wisdom

Day 5 - January 9, 2025

The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
Proverbs 4:7 NIV

Wisdom is seeing life from God’s perspective. Let us pray for His wisdom and understanding.

Prayer for Today:
Lord, You declare in Your Word that if any of us lack wisdom we should ask for it and it will be generously given to us! (James 1:5) Give us the ability to discern with people, circumstances, opportunities, and situations. Give us insight to see life from Your perspective. Your Word declares that wisdom is supreme. We thank You that through wisdom we walk in the fullness of Your blessing. Just as You told to Solomon to pray for whatever he wanted, and he prayed for wisdom above all, we too ask You for wisdom. We apply the wisdom of the Word of God to our daily living. May we discover the wisdom of Biblical solutions to our problems. Thank You that through wisdom our future looks better and brighter. You will give us wisdom to know what to do in the situations of life. With wisdom, we will do what Jesus would do. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10) so we choose to worship You and reverence You, almighty God! We welcome teaching, training, correction, and even rebuke so that we may grow in wisdom. Thank You that through wisdom we receive favor, promotion, wealth and honor. We continually look to Your Word, the Bible, as our source of wisdom. The principles of Your Word bring wisdom. Jesus, You are wisdom personified. We seek and receive more of You, Jesus! By Your wisdom, we will be empowered to make good decisions in life. Wisdom come! Understanding come! We value and treasure Your wisdom Lord and we receive it in abundance! Therefore we are blessed, strong, and successful because of Your wisdom. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen!

cast your cares and burdens upon the lord

Day 4 - January 8, 2025

Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be forsaken.
Psalm 55:22 NIV

There are three power words in this verse: Cast, cares, and sustain.

Cast means to throw, hurl, abandon, or toss away as no longer wanted or needed; to dispense as to have nothing to do with it anymore. Our cares, concerns, worries, burdens are to be thrown away, abandoned into God’s care, dispensed so that we no longer have anything to do with them anymore.

A care or burden refers to a load of anxiety that weighs a person down; It may include your responsibilities, your daily duties, your load in life; your troubles be it family, work, ministry, bills, and more.

Sustain is a great word; it means God will uphold you, nourish you, feed you, support you, take care of you. Put the weight on the Lord and let Him carry you. Peter repeats this truth in the New Testament in 1 Peter 5:7, “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” God cares for you!

Prayer For Today:
Lord, we pray today and shift the load from us to You. God, we know and believe You are able, You are willing, You are capable, and You are strong. Therefore, we cast all of our cares, concerns, worries, and burdens completely to You. We give all of our concerns regarding family, work, ministry, finances, relationships, and anything else completely over to Your power and love. Thank You Lord that You sustain us. You, Lord, are our support and strength. You sustain and carry us in the palm of Your hand. Thank You for caring for us and loving us so faithfully. We declare that we will not be moved. We are stable and consistent. We declare that we are planted and flourishing! In Jesus mighty name we cast everything to Your might care and love. Amen.

Prayer to Be Strong and Courageous

Day 3 - January 7, 2025

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9 NIV

Be strong and courageous. The Lord actually commands us to be strong and courageous. Courage is developed in your character by facing your fears. Strength comes by relying on the power of the Holy Spirit. Strength and courage are the two qualities the Lord demands of us as we face 2025.

Prayer for Today:
God, we pray for Your grace to walk in strength and courage for the coming year. Strength and courage are needed in order to make progress this next year. Your word, in this Scripture, is telling us to go forward, make progress, and to not be discouraged. We come against satan when he tries to intimidate and instill fear in us, in Jesus name. We know the devil has no authority over us, and there is nothing he can do to us, as children of God. God, we trust in You and go forward in courage knowing that nothing can stop us when we are strong and courageous in You. We declare the Lord is my strength for this year. We declare the Lord is my source of courage for this year. God, we know that your Word promises that You will be with us wherever we go this year, so we don't have to be afraid or discouraged. We pray that every hindrance will not deter us or slow us down as we go forward in courage and strength from You, Lord. God, when You are with us, Satan is defeated and prosperity of every type is guaranteed upon our lives! We pray that we would be strong and courageous in all we do for the praise of His name! In Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Prayer to Forget the Past & Reach Forward

Day 2 - January 6, 2025

Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead
Philippians 3:13 NASB

This verse tells us that we can turn away from dwelling on our ugly past and begin to courageously look into the good future the Lord has for us.

Prayer For Today:
Lord, we thank you that we are no longer chained to our past memories that have bound us to our past. Because of Your precious blood, our old life and our past is completely washed away. Thank You that we are free from guilt, shame, and condemnation (Romans 8:1). We give you praise that, by Your abundant grace, we are a new creation in Christ Jesus. Old things are passed away and all things become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). You have forgotten our sins, mistakes, and failures, so we choose not to dwell on our past. Instead, we reach forward to those things that are ahead. We step into our destiny knowing that You have good plans for us, plans to prosper us, and give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). The best is yet to come as you finish what you started in us. Thank you for the hope of Christ that tells us tomorrow will be better than today. We choose not to worry but to thank You in advance that our steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). We choose to reach forward to the good that lies ahead as we trust in Your abundant goodness. Your plans and purposes are bigger than we can even imagine. Thank You Lord that the chains of the past are broken and we are free to reach forward with what you have called us to do!  In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen!

Prayer for God's Care All Year Long

Day 1 - January 5, 2025

From the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
Deuteronomy 11:12 NKJV

Let us pray to start this new year with a heart of faith and trust in our good God. God promises to watch over us and protect us from the first day of the year to the last day of the year.

Prayer for Today:
God, thank You for the promise that You are always with us from the beginning of this year to the very last day of the year. We thank You for caring for us: our every situation, our surroundings, our families, as a good, good Father. You watch over us with your eyes giving us protection to walk in our divine purpose every day of this year. Thank you Father that you never sleep or slumber (Psalm 121:4). Your eyes are always upon us. Your presence is with us wherever we go. You are concerned about our homes, our families, our children, our transportation, our jobs, our careers, our finances, our health, our church, and for our safety. Nothing escapes from your care and oversight. We pray that our hearts be filled with faith and assurance that you watch over us and lead us because we are Your beloved children. We are special to You and You think about us every single day. We thank you, Father, because knowing that you care and watch over us all the year long gives us perfect peace as we completely trust in you every single day… “from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.” We face this new year with hope, faith, expectation, joy, and peace! In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen!
